Elvis Presley
Elvis Aaron Presley, also known as The King of Rock n Roll, is called by many as the greatest entertainer of all time. He was not born into entertainment though, he had a fairly difficult life and a rough time growing up throughout the years.
Elvis was born on January 8, 1935, to Vernon and Gladys Presley in a two-room house in Tupelo, Mississippi. Elvis was a twin to his stillborn brother, Jessie Garon, leaving Elvis Aaron Presley an only child. He grew up in a very close, working class family. His family consisted of his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Growing up there wasnt much money, but Vernon and Gladys did their very best to provide for their son, who was the most important thing or person in their lives.
Elviss first exposure to music was at his church, Assembly of God. Some of the other first musical influences that Elvis had were, black bluesmen from the neighborhood and country music radio programs that the family listened to.
