No matter how much pain or sorrow the truth may embrace, it is crucial that the truth is always told, especially in high-profile professions. Lying is a very consequential mistake that people in our society seldom take note of; one of the biggest challenges our world is faced with today is the lack of trust amongst each other. People become egocentric and fail to cooperative and fully understand the needs of others. Lying eventually generates hatred, war, conflict, and violence amongst nations, groups, as well as individuals. Is there such thing as lying for a better cause? Or is it justifiable to tell white lies? In my own opinion, white lies are merely excuses. In some rare cases, a complicated personal conflict does arise where the truth is much too agonizing to unveil. Lying just seems like the right (and only) option accessible, but I feel that no situation imposes the right to lie. In extreme cases, a slower approach may be necessary, but no matter how its done, the truth should always be told.
