The play was very successful, because of it outstanding acting and energy. The actor who was playing as Arnolphe showed no sign of tier ness and showed very precise character flow. It felt throughout the play that I was not watching a play at all but as if it was happening in the present day right before me. One of the way you can tell the actor is doing the job right is if one can feel attached to the story.The actor must bond a relationship with the audience. This way the audience feels emotion toward the character the actor is performing. All the characters filled there characters profoundly without over performing.
The storyline seemed very unique; like a fairy tale in children books. True love gets its way at the end. It kept the interest of the audience, by giving suspense and by comedic dialogues of course. The final act provides great irony when Oronte and Enrique arrive on the scene and announce that Horace is to marry Enrique's daughter - which turns out to be Agnès, rendering all of Arnolphe's scheming useless.
