While reading Dr. Carters mis- education of an negro he discusses many issues about how African Americans in America are mis- educated, the schools do not teach us about our heritage, he talks about how we learn about white history but do not learn about where we come from. We do not learn about our homeland. And being that will still feel connected to the continent of Africa it is important that we study these things.
