Romeo and Juliet The play Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare is about two families, the Montagues and the Capulets, who have an extreme hatred for each other. A child from each family, meet at a party and truly believe that they fall in love. After the party, Romeo, the boy from the Montague family, decides to go to Juliet, the daughter of the Capulet’s house. Romeo stands outside Juliet’s window, and they keep expressing their ‘love’ for each other. The connection between the two is very controversial, whether it is true love or just lust is for the reader to decide. Some readers feel that Romeo and Juliet’s relationship is love but there are a countless number of examples why they are just expressing lust for one another. Romeo and Juliet’s relationship is based off of pure lust because they just met and have only known about each other for a few hours, they are young and do not know what true love is, and they base their emotions off of each others looks. Romeo and Juliet first meet, they are struck with lust and already they want to spend more time with each other. ......
