Teenage Drinking
Have you ever been to a party, when someone starts drinking and in minutes everyone else follows? I have, one day I went with my friends to a party. First it seems like a normal party with a lot of teenagers. Later on, some kids came with a load of beer, and every body started grabbing one. I tried to tell my friends not to drink, but at that point they would not listen to anyone. For a while I felt like an outsider because I was not drinking. Later I saw the guy who drove us to the party holding his third bottle of beer. That makes me worry and I decided to leave. I called my uncle and he picked us up. He was actually happy about me calling him, I was surprised. Drinking is a serious problem with teenagers. Most teens do not realize that alcohol affects them emotionally, mentally and physically.
Teens drink alcohol for many reasons. Some say it makes them function better. I heard from teens a lot about how drinking makes them perform some daring things they normally would not do. Others say it takes away the stress or a problem they have and calm them down. ......
