At the end of World War 1 the allies gathered together and signed The Treaty of Versailles after they formed the League of Nations. In 1931, Japan set off a bomb and was planning to invade Manchuria. The league of nations wanted Japan to stop so they withdrew themselves from the league. Hitler became the chancellor of Germany 1933, a few years later in 1935 he reinstated the German military and got back much of the land that was taken from Germany. He sort of manipulated the league into giving him back land and factories. He did this by telling them they would never make the money to pay them back if they did not have these things. Mussolini, who Hitler greatly admired, also came to power in Italy in 1935. Nobody set out to stop them so Hitler increased his demands until he invaded finally Poland. Two days later, both Britain and France declared war on Germany which was the start of World War 2.
World war 2 was a worldwide conflict that went on from about 1939 through 1945 due to Hitler. It was one of the darkest periods in the history of the world. Countries were destroyed......
