Keeping the body fit for health incorporates the following components Cardiovascular fitness Requires the heart and blood vessels to supply the working muscles with oxygen for long periods of time. Cardiovascular fitness is important in football. As I play a midfield role I am on the go during the match for long periods of time without rest. So having an efficient Cardiovascular fitness is key in football, if I want to supply my muscles efficiently. Strength Is normally measured by the amount of weight the muscles can lift, or applying a force against a resistance. Throughout matches in football I will have to use strength a lot e.g. jumping for headers, need to be physical in the air when jumping.
