Introduction
The United States of America waged a brief war against Spain from April 25th to August 12th, 1898. There were many factors that started this war making it a turning point in American history (Leckie, 1968, pp.53). 20 years later, The United States was involved again in another war, the Great War or World War I, against the central powers. The end of this war proved to be the beginning of global power and influence of the United States (Baldwin, 1962, pp.160).
Apparently, there were no relations among the events that led to both wars and neither among their consequences, but there were many similarities among the interests behind the events and among the benefits and profits of the consequences of those wars too.
