Biology coursework Osmosis Aim The aim of my experiment is to find out the concentration of sugar inside potato cells. To find this out, I am going to do an experiment. The experiment will be done in class, in the experiment I will change the sucrose concentration and I will measure the mass of the potato. Prediction My prediction is that I think the water in the potato will go towards the sucrose solution because it is a higher concentration and the potato cells membrane will not be able to handle it. I made this prediction because I found out that if the concentration of the solution is low then the potato will absorb the water, and the potato cells will be able to hold the water in the potato. This is because the potato cells will be able to handle the concentration therefore the potato will absorb more , and the potato will hold the water.
