In this play there are many characters to blame on the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. The two young lovers both committed suicide after a series of misunderstandings. If no one interfered with their love lives they would not have died. In this composition, I will analyse the characters and come to conclusion on who is the best person to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. Whilst Mercutio was on the verge of stepping into death he cursed the two families: “A plague on both your houses.” This is a curse that he lays on these two feuding families for not sorting out their differences. It seems like Mercutio’s curse worked, the two children from both families die. Lord Capulet arranges a marriage for his daughter to get married to Count Paris: “On Thursday tell her, she shall be married to this noble Earl.” At this point and moment he is slightly innocent. He does not know about his daughter’s marriage to Romeo. Lord Capulet threatens to disown Juliet if she does not marry Count Paris: “Get thee to church on Thursday, or never look me in the face.” At this point he p......
