Grand Avenue
Born on February 12th, 1952, in Santa Rosa California, Greg Sarris has written a series of books, screenplays and articles. This author received an extensive education, ranging from schools like the University of California, and Stanford University where he obtained his P.H.D. With help from his education, Greg has held such jobs as an author, educator, and politician. In fact this author has become one of the most recognizable figures in the Californian Natives struggle to reclaim land. Sarris has even held the position of chief or chairman of the federated coast Miwok tribes, witch he held for three consecutive terms. Greg wasnt always so well off; much of his childhood struggle equipped him with the motivation needed to accomplish success by relating his life to literature. Three main aspects are symbolized in Grand Avenue, a novel composed of ten short stories, and various ethnic groups.
