The are many reasons to why laws should be obeyed. Ever since the beginning of
civilizations, there had always been a ruler. This ruler, weather an absolute ruler or a formed
government would create laws a restrictions which it would want its people or citizens to follow
and obey. Some kings in history would have harsh punishments and consequences for an
infraction. Some were very strict in stealing and not littering, they would form their laws and
restrictions according to what the ruler thought should be followed and the consequences of the
infraction would be the rulers punishment to his people. The severity of these punishments
were given by the ruler therefore, if the ruler thought that littering needs a harsher punishment
then stealing due to the reason of his thinking, thats how the laws were written. In the modern
days however, the developed countries are governed by a government which is built on the votes
of its citizens, and no citizen will vote for a punishment of ten lashes for littering, gratefully our
infractions punishment is by paying a certain amo......
