As a slightly self-conceited action, I decided to start my search in the place where most of my interests lie when it comes to the subject of Hog Processing: Animal Rights. Beginning at the age of seven, I began taken steps towards protecting the rights of animals, by becoming the first vegetarian in my immediate family. In fact, the reason why I made that decision was for the very same reason I chose this subject. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was watching T.V flipping through the channels, and I accidentally tuned in on a very startling sight. Being brutally murdered on the screen were what seemed like hundreds of pigs. I remembered my Dad coming in and shutting off the T.V, then asking me if I would like to talk about what I had seen.
