Klein and Weider describe the aspects of development in the earliest years. The aspects discussed are learning experiences between a child and his/her caregiver, child behavior according to developmental level, motor and sensory skill development, and the affect of cultural difference on learning experiences. Additionally, this article presents an overview of the Mediated Learning Experience (MLE) and Developmental-Structuralist Models.
