The Adventures of Tom Swayer and Huckleberry Finn Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

The adventure of Tom Sawyer is about a boy in his teenage years that lives a life of mischief and strife schoolboy, prankster, lover, con artist, adventurer, pirate, dreamer, and hero causing all sorts of trouble. Tom lives with his Aunt Polly, a half brother named Sid, and a cousin named Mary in a quiet town of St .Petersburg, just off the shore of the Mississippi river. While Tom is trying to cure warts he stumbles unto a murder scene, where he would later be brought to court to testify on the murder case. Tom is what they say nothing like his half brother Sid, always into things and always getting “lickings” from his Aunt Polly. Tom loves to hang out with his friend Huckleberry Finn (the town’s social outcast) at night rather than attending school. Despite his dread of schooling, he would get away with a lot of pranks if it wasn’t for his half brother Sid being such a “tattle-tale”. One day as Tom came home his Aunt Polly while eating supper and stealing sugar Aunt Polly started asking Tom questions because she’s never heard anything about Tom doing bad or good in sch......
