Nissan wasnt always the way they were today. Going back in the day of the 1900s someone in the past was going to become a Billionaire in the future. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Motors 1) In Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Japan three men together made a small car company called DAT how they got the companies name was from the last initial from all three men Kenjiro Den, Rokuro Aoyama, and Meitaro Takeuchi. But soon the car company got a got renamed Kwaishinsha Motorcar Co. by 1918, and then later down the road the Company changed its name again to DAT Motorcar Co. in 1925. The company merged with another company called Jitsuyo Jidosha Co. then renaming themselves again to DATSON which mean Son of DAT in 1931, Finally in 1932 The car company came up with the name DATSUN the reason being because, the word SON means loss which they thought was bad luck for them. When they changed there name they moved to a more opened area called Yokohoma, Tokyo in 1934.
