Margaret Atwood Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

Margaret Atwood is one of Canada’s most famous authors, her unique sense of humour and liveliness for life shine through in her works. I feel that she puts a lot of her life experiences into her writings and I believed they are mostly based on conflict, socialism, escapism and the natural world. In this paper I will examine these four points and show how Atwood uses them to prove the difference between men and women in her stories and also how nature is a part of her life. Margaret Atwood was born in Ottawa, Ontario, in 1939. She is one of Canada’s most renown novelist and poet, and has also written short stories, radio scripts and books for children. Margaret has been a full-time writer since 1972 and the President of the Writers Union of Canada from 1981-1982. In 1964, The Circle Game was published as her first book for poetry, which received many different awards. Margaret published many other collections of poetry, including: Morning in the Burnt House, Interlunar and also Eating Fire. Margaret Atwood is best known for her famous novels, which bear strong women characters......
