As the head of human resources, Marilyn Winn is about to give a recommendation about an incentive pay plan to Gary Loveman who is the Chief Operating Officer at Harrahs Corporation. Harrahs Casino is getting a trouble that their dropping revenue cannot endure the cost for the incentive pay plan, $16 Million. The incentive pay plan is the program that rewards employees for improving in customer service. Harrahs Corp. believes the program can improve competitive spirit in the employees. This plan is to show employees that they are at the center of Harrahs strategy, but the result has not completely satisfied the company. Even though their customer service has improved, their revenue is lower than they expected. The problem for this incentive plan is that some employees are getting tired of working hard, because not all hard working employees are rewarded on their performance.
