"RIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNGGGGGG RRRRRIIIINNNNNNNNNGGGGGG RRRRRRRINNNNNNNGGGGGGG" The telephone insistently rang. It was a Friday before the weekend in the summer of 2004. My friends wanted to go camping and expected me to go with them. I told them that my parents said no, it was an obvious lie and they knew it, I just didn't want to go. Eventually, I would give into their demands and threats; as a result the camping trip would change my life forever. That night we would do a lot of fun things such as, making a huge bonfire, shooting bottles rockets off, having fish fights, but there is one thing that I will never forget; the day I learned to kayak.
