The name of the book I read is Uncle Toms Cabin. It was written by Harriet Beecher Stowe in 1852. I'm here to tell you a little more about this great book.
This book begins on a chilly, February afternoon in a parlor in P------, Kentucky. The story continues to tell the tale of two slaves and their long, tiresome journeys. Elizas son was to be sold, so she ran away in order to protect both her and her child. Tom, on the other hand, decided to cooperate with his master and go out searching for Eliza. The ending to this story takes place when Eliza gains her freedom and when Tom is beaten to death.
You may be wondering who Eliza and Tom are. There are also many other people that you dont know about that are involved in this story. Thats why Im here.
