The Day Loved Turned Deadly If we really think about all the things in our lives we could consider ourselves lucky, the reason for this is because we probably have never experienced being a witness of a horrible massacre. There have been so many massacres in the past few centuries. So the purpose of this paper is to explore one of the many deadly massacres that happened. This one happened to be on a day that was for love, but everything went wrong. This massacre would be called the Saint Valentines Day Massacre. What is the Saint Valentine’s Day Massacre? “The Saint Valentine's Day Massacre is the name given to the shooting of seven people (six of them were gangsters). It was part of a period called the Prohibition Era, it was a conflict that happened between two gangs in Chicago, Illinois, on gang led by Al Capone or Scarface, his gang was called the South Side Italian, and the other gang was led by George Morand “bugs” and it was called The Northside Irish/German gang.
