The Thirteenth Floor Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

Computer scientist Hannon Fuller has discovered something important, and leaves a note for his colleague, Douglas Hall, in a computer generated parallel world that's just like 1937, with seemingly real people with real emotions. Fuller is murdered the same night, by his colleague, who cannot recall the murder and had no motive to do so. Hall finds a letter left to him in the computer generated world and begins his journey on to discovering the shocking truth about his own world. When he finds that his world is also a simulation he doesn’t know what he is, a computer program or a human. Despite that fact that the 1937/2000 world is simulated, the characters in that world are just as “human” as those in the “non-simulated” world. The characters in the simulated world demonstrate their humanness by their ability to feel pain, think freely and experience a wide range of emotions. In the film, The 13th Floor, the characters in the simulated world feel pain in the same way real humans do, and experience the same symptoms. This is illustrated when Hall logs out of the 1937 world......

Dear Free Essays:

Thanks for helping me with my term paper!

With so many essays and term papers on your service, I got a few ideas from mixing and matching and managed to write a great paper in 1/10 the time. My teacher thought so too because I got an A grade. Thank you so much!
