The workforce is changing. Roughly one in three working-age Americans will be mature by 2010. (Samuelson). The number of workers aged 55 to 64 is expected to increase by about 8.3 million between 2002 and 2012 as the Baby Boomers mature (http://www.forbes.com). Younger workers dont have a vested interest in the company or are familiar with the company history (http://www.forbes.com).
