There are three important terms should be defined before this paper discussed the title in depth. The first term is culture. What does culture means? According to the Oxford Advanced Learners Dictionary (seventh Edition), the word culture can be defined as the customs and beliefs, art, way of life and special organization of a particular country or group. Culture also can be defined as the beliefs and attitudes about something that people in a particular group or organization share.
Sociologists prefer a much broader, less subjective and impartial definition that can refer to the values, customs, and acceptable modes of behaviour that characterize a society or social groups within a society. Indeed, culture and society are closely entwined concepts in that one could not exist in any meaningful way without the other. As Giddens puts it, no cultures could exist without societies. But equally, no societies could exist without culture.
