Children who watch an excessive amount of television are at risk of becoming obese. They are also more likely to be aggressive, violent, and stereotypical.
A vast majority of programs on television contain commercials. These commercials are geared toward a specific group of viewers. Saturday Morning Cartoons are specifically geared toward children; consequently, all the commercials during this time are colorful and vivid, to attract their attention.
