One of the greatest generals who ever lived, his military genius has been compared to that of Robert E. Lee and Irvin Rommel. I know it doesnt take a general to run an empire, but it does take a smart man. I knew very little about Caesar until I read the play by William Shakespeare. All I knew was that he was a very good military strategist and that he conquered most of Europe. After reading this play I learned the wrongs that his fellow Romans bestowed upon him. I learned that he was never really a king of Rome, but that he was offered the chance and that he denied it. Julius Caesar may not have been the most modest of people, but I believe that he had a kind heart, leaving everything he loved to the people of Rome; a strong personality, being as constant as the northern star; and I know hes what the people of Rome wanted for a leader. So knowing this, when asked whether I think Caesar should have been killed or not I come to the not unfounded conclusion that he most certainly should not have been killed. He had strong leadership qualities that neither Cassius nor Brutus could match......
