I have lived in a big city, XX, with six million people since I was born.
XX, is a very crowded city in China. Skyscrapers, supermarkets and stores are
everywhere. Whenever you go out, you can see lots of people, bicycles, cars and buses
except at midnight. Everyone lives in skyscrapers, even the rich. Almost nobody has a garden,
like here in Eugene. So, there are lots of noises, pollution and crimes. It is hard to see a bird
only some butterflies.
When I was 12 years old, at the end of summer term, I graduated from elementary
school and got all ¡°As¡±. My mother was so happy that she asked for one month vacation
from her boss. My mom and I were going to visit my grandma who was in a faraway ,
small countryside . Mom had not visited grandma for eight years, and she missed her mom very
much.
At that time, we didn¡¯t have a telephone. As soon as we made this decision, mom sent
grandma a letter to tell her that we would visit her on July 18. Then mom bought some
presents for my grandma and other relativ......
