Impact of the Anti-Federalists Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

The drafting of the U.S. Constitution involved days and days of debate and compromise between the delegates. The task at hand was to repair the Confederate government and institute a system that would comply with the needs of the newly found country. After its completion, the representatives divided into two separate groups, the Federalists and Anti-Federalists. Both sides portrayed valid arguments either for or against the ratification of the Constitution. Due to the organization and professionalism achieved by the Federalists, a compromise was reached and all the states finally approved the new form of government when a compromise to include a bill of rights was reached. During the months of drafting and final ratification, the Federalists and Anti-Federalists published many essays arguing for and against the approval of the Constitution. Due to the organization and influence of the Federalists, they eventually reached their goal of ratification.
