Trading Blocs are basically relationships between countries, these are generally countries in the same region and they facilitate free trade agreements. Examples of free trade agreements include The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), European Union (UN), Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASAN), Mercado Commune Del Sur (MCDS) and Southern African Development Community (SADC). Trading Bloc is formed by one or more tax tariff and trade agreement. Trading Blocs are generally created to promote trade among nations. One of the first economic blocs was the German Customs Union (Zollverein) initiated in 1834, formed on the basis of the German Confederation and subsequently German Empire from 1871. Free trade agreements are seen as having a positive impact on economic growth, especially for smaller countries in the agreement. Overall trading blocs are countries that have reached a common agreement to lower trade barriers throughout the group.
