Cleveland Golf was originally founded in 1979 by namesake Roger Cleveland. Cleveland Golf started out as a company known for producing superb replicas of classic golf clubs from the 1940's and 1950's but today, the company is considered one of the forerunners in product innovation and is home to the #1 Wedge in Golf.
Since 1997, Cleveland Golf has experienced extraordinary growth with the engagement
of Greg Hopkins as president. Hopkins' goal was to move towards a product line that would make high performance equipment available to golfers at every level and increase visibility in the marketplace. He has thus far succeeded on both counts with products that feature such cutting edge technology as CMM metal, golf's first light density metal.
