Osama bin Laden has been called the worlds foremost terrorist by the media, and is considered Public Enemy Number One by the United Sates government (Current Biography, 2001). Osama was brought up in a very luxurious life style with a large family. He received a top of the line education and is a radical believer of his religion, Islam. Osama left his home country of Saudi Arabia to join the radical movement in Afghanistan. There he created the Al Qaeda and spearheaded terrorist attacks across the world. Today, very little is known about Osama bin Laden.
Osama was the seventeenth of fifty-seven children. He was born on July 30, 1957 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to a very wealthy family (Current Biography, 2001). Mohammed bin Laden, Osamas father, was born in 1908 in the village of Rubat, Hadramant, now a southern province of Yemen. Mohammed left Rubat in 1930 to find work in Saudi Arabia.
