Dear US Health Department,Do you agree with having every person in America spend a total of $28,710,371,400 to eliminate mononucloesis? I strongly dissagree with making every person in the United States pay $100 to eliminate mono.One reason is because the symptoms are minor and harmless. I also dissagree because mandular fever cures itself over time. Lastly because there are other more important things that $28,710,371,400 could be used for. In my opinion it would be foolish to have every american spend $100 to eliminate mononucleosis. The symptoms of mononucleosis are acute. Some of the symptoms are sore throat, fever, fatigue, excessive sweative, jaundice and headaches. These symptoms are not fatal and will have no long term effects. Some parts may be affected such as swollen glands, and enlarged spleens, but none of them are permanent. Also mononucleosis mostly affect young adults 14-30All these symptoms can be as brief as two weeks. So as may see, there is no need to eliminate mono.Secondly mono cures itself over time.
