Whenever two or more people come together with a shared purpose they form a culture within its own written and unwritten rules for behavior. Families, workplaces and also communities all have culture. These cultures have a tremendous, though rarely recognized, impact upon our behavior as individuals and as groups. Each kind of culture al environment provides a somewhat unique set of standards to which we much adapt. This essay will seek to illustrate if culture can be managed if so how and to what extent.
Organizational or corporate culture is the style and learned ways that govern and shape the organizational people relationships(Lynch, 2000.) culture governs what a company stands for, how it allocates resources, its organisational structure, the systems it uses, the people it hires, the results it recognizes and rewards what it defines as problems and opportunities, and how it deals with them.
