Ever been misjudged? Doesn’t feel to good… does it? In To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, Scout and Jem Finch live with their father in the quiet town of Maycomb, Alabama. Because of their curiosity, Scout, Jem and their neighbor friend, Dill learn how discrimination is such a big factor in their town. Throughout these two years, the children are put in several situations that make them realize the world isn’t fair and prejudiced people are ubiquitous. Mr. Boo Radley and Mr. Dolphus Raymond both went through life as rejects, freaks, losers and some even call them scum, but by the end of the story, the truth is revealed. Starting as the neighborhood monster, Mr. Radley is shunned by the community like a squashed raccoon, but by the end of the story Scout sees that Boo is a true hero. For instance, Jem, being the reasonable guy that he is, gave what he thought was a reasonable description of Boo Radley. “Boo was about 6-and-a-half feet tall… he dined on raw squirrels and any cats he could catch… There was a long jagged scar that ran across his face; what teeth he had were yell......
