Action Heros vs Dramatic Heroes Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report
Heroes. What makes a person a hero? Is it mad fighting skills? Is it being brave? Putting yourself in danger to save others? Is it being yourself when it would be easier to be someone else? We all have different ideas of heroes. Theres action heroes who use physical fighting to win their battles. And theres dramatic heroes who use more of their brains and will power and not so much the violence to win their battles. An example of an action hero would be Captain Malcolm Reynolds from the TV show Firefly and the movie Serenity. He fights, shoots, uses vulgar to win any of his battles against an enemy. A dramatic hero would be Vanessa OReilly from the book Impulse, who was battling herself trying to overcome the addiction of self-injury. Each one is a hero in one way or another. They won the fight in the end. But each in a different way. But which one is more likeable to people? Which hero does the world prefer?
Both heroes are good, strong fighters. They know what they want, and they fight for it. Capn Mal fights for his life, the lives of his family(his crew......
