The biggest mistake I can remember making is when I agreed to transfer to a public school when my mom thought it was best for me. To fit in was like a must . So since I was the 14 year old and immature girl I taught I was cool and popular for driving a car at that age. One day the people I hanged with ,that I thought were friends, peered pressured me to skip school my fresh man year in high school.
I was 14 years old when I got to Austin high school. I was like the shyest girl and not the type of girl that like to have extreme fun. I had just transferred from a private school. I was not used to the big space and was not used to all the students attending this big school. It was nothing like my old small and friendly environment at my old school. I had never heard of gangs, drugs, fights, weapons at schools , police man with dogs. To me it was the worst place ever.
Thinking of ways to fit in I taught I should join the sports team. Not only that I would hang with the most popular guys in school.
I was known as the popular girl after three weeks .......
