What began as one womans vision of a gourmet food store has now become three stores in the Southern California area. Kathy Kudler is passionate about gourmet cooking but did not like having to drive to multiple locations to find her fine food ingredients for the foods on her menu. So in 1998 Kathy opened up her first store in La Jolla, California called Kudler Fine Foods. In 2000 the second store opened in Del Mar and the Encinitas store became a reality in 2003.
Kudler Fine Foods has five different departments all with the finest foods. The bakery is a European Style Bakery with foods that do not contain preservatives and are made from old world recipes. The Meat and Seafood department has only meat and seafood obtained from producers who are certified to be organic producers and are always fresh and prepared in the store when ordered. In the produce department one can find over 350 fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices. Produce is offered in both organic and non-organic versions. The Cheese ......
