Great Expectations Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

For my GCSE prose study coursework assignment I will be writing about the way Charles Dickens uses the setting in three different chapters from the book “great expectations”. The chapters I have chosen are chapter 1 which is about Pip meeting Magwitch the convict and tells us their description. The second chapter I chose is chapter 8 which is about Pip on his first meeting to Miss Havisham and Estella. The final chapter I chose is chapter 11 which is when Pip encountered his second meeting to Miss Havisham. Charles Dickens writes the story as a narrative. He is writing it in a role of an adult Pip telling the story. The most important event in this chapter is when Pip meets the convict. He meets him while he is mourning over his family.......
