One of the most unique stories about mankind within the Bible comes from the book that carries the name of Daniel. This young man, without a doubt, is considered to be the prime example of how we should place our faith in the Lord for all things. In his account we see victory in our lives over all things when we place our reliance in God. Further than this, we must be in accord with Gods will, and thats exactly where Daniel was his whole life. When we look at this exiled person we see the hand of God steering him and controlling him through every event and every encounter he experienced. Gods sovereignty held this man up as a pattern of righteousness for an unbelieving pagan world. Daniels triumph was only found through reliance on God. When Daniel was a young boy, Babylon had conquered the Beautiful Land and had taken many, many Jews into exile. Daniel was more than likely from some type of upper class of citizen and after found to be competent and suitable for service in the kings court.
