Societies both French and Russia were re-created after the revolutions, brought on upon by the revolutionaries. The revolutions brought great change and helped to develop new societies. Prior to the revolutions in both countries the situation of society was appalling; religion was corrupt, social division was wide spread which meant a vast majority of the citizens had very little or no rights. Yet the means of a revolution gave a sense of reform and new societies to both France and Russia.
The key principles of reform in France were predominately reason and equality. The French revolution was an attempt to reorganise the in equal and unfair society. This was a series of events which were completed between 1789 and 1791. The revolution represented an attempt to change the French society by the means of reforming, rationalising, improving the system of administration and national life within France.
