In schools in the United States there is a problem with students that are not getting proper help in class known as at risk children, these students are problematic in class. At risk children are students that have difficulty in school because of their violent background, learning disability, or a questionable facility of learning. Other at risk children having problems at home, delinquent or academically and socially in school ( Polk 17-19).
Todays schools have a system set up for all the students to learn the same subject, all at the same time. Every student has the same amount of information given to them, so they can understand the subject.
