Although one of the NFLs best running backs came into the league hardly noticed, he has undoubtedly helped the Chiefs start off to their best record ever. He started a little rocky with the Ravens, but he has electrified himself and the Chiefs to great heights. This relatively small NFL player, Priest Holmes, is not only one of the best running backs in the league, but he also has many other interests and he helps out in the community constantly.
Priest Anthony Holmes was born on October seventh of 1973 (Holmes 7)(Biography 1). While in seventh grade he and his family moved to San Antonio (Biography 1). During high school he was a great football player and a chess player. He helped his team win the 5A title and rushed for 2,031 yards in his senior year despite missing his final four games with a deep thigh bruise (Holmes 7)(Holmes 7) (Holmes 7).
