Since high school, I have been waiting to enter college. I always wanted to be a college student; a serious student who would decide what to be in her life. My first day at University of Tennessee at Martin was on August 22, 2007, the first day of my freshman year and fall semester. It was a day full of new experiences. It was my 20th birthday and a celebration of my first nephew birth. I went into an educational building and was exposed to a different style of learning. My first day signified the beginning of my career goals. As soon as I entered the college campus the high school atmosphere was over and a serious period my life began. By entering the packed parking lot, I got the feeling that I was entering a big institution. The time was 11:30 a.m., and cars were already lined up waiting to park.
