The organization I have selected to study is Biodiagnostic Laboratory Services Inc.This organization is a Clinical laboratory where tests are done on biological specimens in order to get information about the health of a patient.
The following is the hierarchy of the clinical laboratory staff from highest to the lowest, pathologist. Laboratory manager, department supervisor, chief technologist, medical technologist, medical technician, medical laboratory assistant, phlebotomist and specimen processor/secretary. In a majority of countries, there are two main types of labs. Hospital laboratories attached to hospital and the latter is a reference laboratory which is going to be the subject of our study.
