Everybody knows that both nature and nurture play an important role in determination a person’s character. But how is nature determined? And how does nurture influence early human development? Certainly the human’s character, behavior and how he looks is the result of interaction between nature and nurture. And there was a lot of discussion in the centuries about that. In the seventeenth century people had the “prevailing notion that babies were miniature adults who arrived in the world fully equipped with abilities and knowledge and who simply had to grow in order for these inherited characteristics to appear” (Slaght, J., Harben, P., & Pallant, A., 2006).
