Jeff Jacobs being a sports columnist for the Hartford Courant located in Connecticut has a duty to bring you the headline news, but also to view his opinion in the matter. Along with many others he is opposed to the player-coach relationship, but his justification is unclear at times whether it is due to the unethical reasons of it or if the lesbian part of the matter sways his opinion. Jacobs article portrays Chatman in a negative light naming the headline Newsmakers for all the Wrong Reasons. Not only does Jacobs bring up the issue of whether or not Pokeys relationship with a former student was wrong or not but also views his opinion on the fact it was a homosexual relationship. Jacobs outright says it was a poor choice of Pokey to make and gives other female homosexuals a bad wrap.
