Softball Injury Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report
It was a cold, sunny day on April 23, 2005. We had a huge double-header against Waunakee. Now let me tell you, us Portage girls dont like Waunakee at all so we wanted to cream them. Our team was pretty good that year; we won all of our games so far so we thought we were just going to keep the streak going.
We were pretty excited because this was going to be our first double-header for the season. We all got to the field at different times. Once everyone got there we were all chatting talking about how excited we were and what we did Friday night, but it was so cold out that some of us had to call our parents to see if they could bring us blankets, hats, gloves, and sweatshirts. At that time we were 5-0 so we were a pretty good team all around.
There was about an hour and half before game time so we decided that we should go stretch and jog a few laps around the field so we could warm up a little bit. While we were stretching everyone was talking about different stuff, I believe my topic was, Kelsey getting ready to take her test to get her temps. We were all making fun of her b......
