According to my grandmother-in-law, the most important positive decision she ever made was having a family. She had two boys, one of who had a son, my husband. At present, I could not tell you her exact age except that it is close to 80. She is a very active senior and lives on her own, after the death of her husband four years ago. Grandma, as we call her, is one of the happiest people I know and a great joy to be around. She always has a little sparkle in her eyes and giggles at the silliest things. She truly loves all those around her and is generous with her affection. I am happy that my daughter will hopefully grow old enough to know her great-grandmother because she is certainly someone that I will always cherish. The one thing that she would have changed was her career choice. She wanted to be a nurse but her mother talked her out of it buy pointing out the not-so-pleasant duties of bed pan changing and coming in contact with other body fluids. She said that she always wanted to be a nurse but wanted to please her mom even more. Grandma went on to be a hair stylis......
