Boys and girls, on the same team, I dont think so. There is no reason why girls and boys should be on the same team. School sports are already fair enough, separate teams are better for everyone. Having boys and girls on the same team can cause many problems.
This will make qualifying for the team a lot harder. Anyone can make the football team; there are so many positions to play. The only challenge is trying to make A team. But in basketball, its going to be a lot more difficult with boys and girls trying out. Many students might complain that boys are playing too rough or not more aggressive. For example: When boys are posting up, they might back into the goal roughly if a girl is defending him. Or boys wont play as much defense on girls as they would on boys. Since teams will be more difficult to qualify, some very talented students will be cut. If some girls dont make the team they might complain that there are too many boys on the team, and coaches might have to use affirmative action.
